Your role

Are you passionate about building the future micro-services platforms for financial trading? Are you committed to a culture of engineering excellence, are keen to challenge the status-quo and are curious to find simple yet creative solutions? We are looking for Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to:

• implement effective continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) strategies
• define best practices and guiding development teams on their cloud journey
• work extensively with Ansible and Gitlab CI pipelines for automated deployments of services and provisioning of cloud resources
• design, implement, and operate cloud-native architectures

Your team

You will be joining the Cloud Orchestration team within the Trade and Transfer Assets stream, which is an integral part of Global Wealth Management and Personal Banking & Corporates. Our team is dedicated to developing and managing cloud-based runtime platforms that offer seamless scalability for services powering our trading platforms. We collaborate closely with the Observability & Reliability and Application teams to provide best-in-class cloud-based solutions in an automated manner. The Trade and Transfer Assets stream owns and operates the bank's strategic trading platforms and infrastructure for Fixed Income, Funds, Global Equity Markets, Structured Products, Fiduciary, ETD Options, and Futures.

Your expertise

You have:

• Proven experience utilizing configuration management systems and Infra-as-Code technologies, with focus on Ansible.
• A solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes is essential.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines, such as Gitlab CI, is required.
• Knowledge of GitOps frameworks, especially FluxCD, would be a considerable advantage.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering projects with global teams.
