Role Description & Scope of Work

This is a freelancing role for a Digital Marketing Generalist for 2 months. The Digital Marketing Generalist will be responsible for managing digital marketing campaigns, analyzing data to optimize performance, creating content for online platforms, and collaborating with the team to drive online engagement and lead generation.

The selected digital marketing generalist will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of the following tasks over a one-month period:

A. Strategy & Planning

  • Conduct initial research to identify and finalize a target list of 15+ relevant online communities (Reddit, LinkedIn, WhatsApp/Telegram groups) and 10+ relevant micro-influencers.
  • Develop a detailed content and promotional calendar for the month.
  • Plan and prepare for a live digital event (e.g., an "Ask Me Anything" session).

B. Content Creation & SEO

  • Seed Content:
    Develop 4 high-value topics and 4 ready-to-use "seed comments" for community engagement.
  • Pillar Blog Posts:
    Write, optimize (for SEO), and publish three high-impact, long-form pillar blog posts, each targeting one of our core audience segments (Finance, Legal, and IT).
  • Case Study:
    Create one mini case study based on early user success or a "Prompt Challenge" result.

C. Social Media Management & Repurposing

  • Finalize and polish all social media profiles (primarily LinkedIn and Twitter/X).
  • Repurpose each pillar blog post into a LinkedIn article, a Twitter/X thread, and 3-4 standalone visual snippets.
  • Launch and manage a "Prompt Challenge" on social media to drive engagement and demonstrate product value.

D. Community Management & Outreach

  • Execute daily community marketing by engaging in targeted online groups, answering questions, and organically introducing the app.
  • Conduct personalized outreach to the identified list of micro-influencers.
  • Engage with early users to gather testimonials for social proof.
  • Amplify content from any collaborating influencers.

E. Paid Advertising Management

  • Set up, manage, and optimize a hyper-targeted Google Search Ads campaign focusing on high-intent, long-tail keywords relevant to the Indian market.
  • Set up, manage, and optimize a Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) campaign to amplify the best-performing organic content to our target audience in key Indian metro cities.

F. Video & Email Marketing

  • Create a short (under 90 seconds) video tutorial script and provide creative direction (production can be discussed). The video will showcase the "Custom Prompt Generation" feature.
  • Write the copy for two targeted email campaigns: an upgrade offer for active users and a "last chance" promotional email.

G. Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze initial sign-up data and weekly KPIs.
  • Analyze user activation and conversion funnel metrics to identify drop-off points.
  • Provide a comprehensive final report at the end of the one-month sprint, detailing user acquisition, conversion data, cost per acquisition (CPA), and insights for future marketing efforts.

  • Expected Outcomes & Key Deliverables

  • Primary Goal:
    Achieve
    1,000 total user sign-ups
    and
    200 conversions to Premium
    by the end of the one-month sprint.

  • Content Deliverables:
  • 3 published pillar blog posts.
  • 1 published user case study.
  • All associated social media repurposed content (threads, snippets).
  • 1 video tutorial script.
  • 2 email campaign copy drafts.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Fully managed Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
  • An active and documented community engagement and influencer outreach program.
  • Reporting:
  • Weekly KPI snapshots.
  • A final, detailed performance report with analysis and strategic recommendations for Month 2.

Qualifications

  • Project Lead/Strategist:
    At least 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing strategy, particularly with SaaS or technology product launches in the Indian market. Proven ability to analyze data and pivot strategy based on performance.
  • Content Writer & SEO Specialist:
    Excellent English writing skills with a portfolio of long-form, SEO-optimized content. Experience writing for professional audiences (tech, finance, legal) is highly desirable.
  • Community Manager:
    Demonstrable experience in engaging with online communities on platforms like Reddit and LinkedIn. Must understand the nuances of organic, value-first engagement.
  • Paid Ads Specialist:
    Hands-on experience managing and optimizing campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads. Certifications are a plus.
  • Social Media Manager:
    Proven ability to manage professional social media accounts (especially LinkedIn and Twitter/X) and repurpose content effectively.
