The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods and/or personnel, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and supervise transportation operations and logistics.Manage fleet maintenance schedules and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.Monitor transport costs and implement cost-saving measures.Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.Recruit, train, and manage drivers and transport staff.Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.Handle transport-related incidents and emergencies effectively.Optimize routes and schedules for efficiency and productivity.Prepare reports and present performance metrics to management.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar logistics role.Strong knowledge of transport regulations and fleet management.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.Valid driver's license (if applicable).Preferred Qualifications:Experience in same field.Certification in logistics or transport management.Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and route optimization tools.Location: On-site –Bengaluru, KAScheduled Weekly Hours:48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tableJLL Privacy NoticeJones Lang LaSalle (JLL), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
