We are inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee, Travel & Expense(T&E)

In this role, you will work as a Travel & Expense Subject Matter Expert with rich experience in the T&E process.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable(T&E) Operations

• Responsibility for the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles for T&E, which include performing, overseeing and reporting
• Accounts payable Function shall report to the Finance Accountant. Accounts Payable executive to be responsible for approving all T&E inputs received for claims and for undertaking the accuracy of transactions in an efficient, and timely manner
• Process AP transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures with self and the team
• Reconcile the Concur data with the corporate card/P card data and ensure payments are accounted for and properly posted within the agreed timelines.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any.
• Generate reports detailing T&E status
• Training end-users on the T&E process
• Review and approve T&E claims
• Reconcile Concur reports with SAP reports
• Chasing business for missing receipts in T&E

Communication

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mentality is a must
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ownership mentality, displays a willingness to challenge the status quo leading to the creation and implementation of excellent processes.
• Support finance leadership with ad hoc analysis and reporting needs.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

• MBA Finance (with B.Com as Graduation)
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• Rich experience in T&E
• Hands on experience with AP ERPs like SAP, Oracle, etc
• Hands on experience with Concur
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Good in Excel and reconciliations

Preferred qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with industry regulations related to AP.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting, best practices, and their integration within required systems.
• Hands-on experience in navigating complex T&E scenarios.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
• Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
