Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Odisha, India. The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, and implement effective purchasing strategies to meet business objectives. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, managing budgets, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Purchasing, procurement management, and vendor negotiation skills
  • Inventory management and supply chain planning expertise
  • Analytical thinking, cost analysis, and budget management abilities
  • Knowledge of contract management and compliance regulations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement-related software
  • Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage
  • Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
