ROLE

This role will work closely with the Digital Lead (who is strategic interface between IT and the Business). The primary responsibility is to understand the key business drivers & needs, provide proactive support and add IT value in the alignment and delivery of the business strategy, objectives through integrated solutions.

This pivotal role aims to accelerate the understanding of business processes and IT resources that support these services and processes. This understanding will deliver business benefits, improve business agility & service, reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance so that costs are reduced.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Own the Digital roadmap for the functions and ensure initiatives are executed appropriately.
  • Provide support for the digital deliveries
  • Assist in follow-ups with vendors on IT tools & services.
  • Prepare and analyse reports and presentation using MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
  • Communicate fluently in English & Hindi with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support IT/operations in monitoring vendor deliverables.
  • Perform primary (including extensive market visits) and secondary research (industry reports) to understand market dynamics, consumer behaviour, user maturity levels & latest trends in the industry
  • Bring in best practices from industry and help analysing the same for business to implement and benefit further
  • Work in partnership with the business units as a member of the management team, to fully understand the key business drivers, processes and needs of current challenges as well as future strategic initiatives and objectives
  • Actively participate with the senior management team in the leadership and organization
  • Interpreting business plans to develop with IT, supporting strategies for expansion
  • Ensure all IT projects are designed and delivered in line with business requirements and priorities
  • Liaise closely with the IT Leadership Team to align IT to business process
  • Support business case development for prioritized opportunities (with Revenue / Cost Impact and Potential IRR)
  • Co-create solutions along with business, IT teams (infra, SAP and Digital) and vendors for the opportunities, challenges, improvements that have been identified and prioritized
  • Review solution architecture from a scalability, flexibility, sustainability standpoint
  • Ensure business outcomes are realized
  • Take responsibility for implementation programmes or system upgrade initiatives and ensure they are delivered within schedule, cost and quality to business units
  • Work in partnership with business to drive key change programmes to improve system process to make them simpler, cheaper and better.
  • Collaborate with IT and the business, utilizing business intelligence and analysis to integrate technology differentiators into the business and Programme planning cycle.
  • Acquiring a full understanding of the business areas and processes being supported by IT
  • Fully participate in wider business projects with Digital focus.
  • Provide the IT contribution to projects, identifying interdependencies and synergies which have a technology impact, and influencing the decisions made.

Functional Skills:

  • Understanding of Channel loyalty or Influencer loyalty
  • Understanding of primary and secondary schemes, discounts and promotions
  • Providing periodic support / upgrades / reports/ coordination.
  • Should have basic understanding of distributorship and dealership operation process to look at loyalty and DMS solutions
  • Orienting team members; conducting training programs.

  • Strong customer focus and proven ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Awareness of industry relevant key topics including Big Data & Analytics, Cloud, Industrial Internet, AR, Simulation

Experience Required: Overall 1-3 years of experience, with minimum 1 Year in software domain, Solutions Implementation, and some functional experience. Exposure or working knowledge on SAP will be an additional advantage.

  • Deep understanding on Building Solutions and end to end Value Chain
  • DMS / SFA knowledge
  • Digital Experience: Awareness on Digital Trends, Business models, technologies and capabilities particularly peer industry.
