Role We're looking for an ambitious and curious Business Development Representative to help fuel our growth across North America. In this role, you'll be the tip of the spear—working on the early stages of our sales process by researching, engaging, and qualifying prospects across Retail, CPG, Sporting
Goods, Manufacturing, Automotive, and related sectors in Mid-Market to Enterprise. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing sales team, learn about complex enterprise sales cycles, and contribute directly to Trika's expansion into strategic accounts. You'll work closely with the Director of Sales and Business Development leader to identify high-value prospects and craft thoughtful outreach strategies that resonate.
What You'll DoAccount-based sales development: Research, prospect and qualify named target accounts using a strategic, focused approach that values "quality over quantity". Account research: Research target companies and identify key decision makers to better tailor lead follow-up and outreach.
Work on outbound pipeline generation across North America, focusing on mid-market and enterprise accounts. Prospect into senior stakeholders (e.g., Heads of Digital, eCommerce, IT, and Operations) with personalized messaging that speaks to their pain points. Conduct deep account research to uncover business initiatives and align them with Trika's offerings.
Qualify opportunities and secure meetings for the Sales Director, ensuring strong hand-off and follow-up. Collaborate with Marketing on ABM and campaign feedback to iterate on messaging and ICP refinement.Become a subject matter expert on composable commerce, B2B ecommerce, omnichannel, OMS, and Trika's value prop in the market. You Are1–3 years of experience in a BDR/SDR role, ideally in B2B SaaS, e-commerce, or digital transformation. You've prospected into mid-market or enterprise accounts and are confident in navigating multi-stakeholder buying groups. Familiar with tools like Sales Navigator, Salesloft, Apollo, Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho, or other sales/CRM platforms.
Comfortable with high-volume outreach, but also capable of crafting strategic, targeted outreach that converts. A track record of measurable success in growing the sales pipeline through a targeted account-based outbound approach. You're naturally curious, self-motivated, and excited to grow within a fast-moving team.
Strong work-ethic with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and a desire to continually improve. Must have a HUNTER mentality. Bonus: Exposure to industries like retail, supply chain, eCommerce, or digital agencies
