Role Overview

The Senior Director – Sales will lead the strategic and operational direction of the sales

function within the IT vertical, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and

building strong enterprise relationships. This role requires leadership of high-performing

sales teams across geographies and service lines (Cloud, Digital Transformation,

Infrastructure, SaaS, etc.), with direct P&L responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy Execution

 Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals.

 Define sales targets and forecast revenue by geography, vertical, and service line.

 Track high-priority deals, manage escalations, and approve pricing/SoW drafts.

 Monitor performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

  1. Key Account Management & Client Acquisition

 Build and maintain C-level relationships with enterprise clients.

 Lead large deal pursuits, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.

 Expand the company's presence in new geographies and verticals.

 Drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives to increase account value.

  1. Team Leadership & Sales Governance

 Recruit, mentor, and manage sales leaders and executives.

 Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and process discipline.

 Conduct regular performance reviews, training programs, and governance checks.

  1. Sales Operations, Tools & Reporting

 Oversee CRM discipline, funnel management, and reporting accuracy.

 Collaborate with Delivery, Pre-sales, Marketing, and Product teams.

 Present sales performance, forecasts, and variance analysis to leadership.

  1. Market Intelligence & Product Alignment

 Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and pricing models.

 Translate insights into actionable GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies.

 Identify potential partnerships, alliances, and solution positioning updates.

Required Qualifications & Skills

 15+ years of experience in IT services sales, with at least 5 years in a senior

leadership role.

 Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving large enterprise deals.

 Strong network of C-level relationships in target industries.

 Deep understanding of IT services (Cloud, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure,

SaaS).

 Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

 Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and reporting.

 Key account retention and expansion.

 Team performance and sales governance compliance.

 Market share growth in defined territories/verticals.
