Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd. (AMPL) is a rapidly growing NBFC-MFI in India with its origins dating back to the early 1990s under the not-for-profit entity Peoples Forum. AMPL transitioned from Mission Annapurna, which began microfinance activities in 2005 to address the economic needs of poor women in Odisha. By 2009, it became Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd. and registered as an NBFC-MFI with the Reserve Bank of India in 2013. AMPL aims to serve economically disadvantaged clients by providing need-based financial services at their doorstep, along with MSME Loans and Small Housing Finance, especially in areas underserved by formal financial institutions.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Gondia for a Branch Credit Manager. The Branch Credit Manager will be responsible for handling credit management, assessing credit risk, and making informed decisions on loan applications. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, monitoring existing loans, conducting market analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role also involves preparing credit reports and coordinating with other departments to enhance the overall credit process.
Qualifications
- Credit Management, Credit Risk Management, and Credit skills
- Strong Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the microfinance sector or NBFCs is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office
