Job Summary

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-level IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. The role involves basic diagnosis, troubleshooting, and replacement of hardware components to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Perform basic diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  • Handle desktop/laptop replacement, upgrades, and part replacements (HDD, RAM, battery, etc.).
  • Support OS installation, configuration, and patch updates.
  • Resolve issues related to printers, network connectivity, and common applications.
  • Maintain asset records and update ticketing system.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of desktop/LAN/Wi-Fi configurationand replacement.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS installation & troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/Wi-Fi configuration).
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow standard IT processes.

Qualification

  • Diploma / Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
