Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the high availability, performance, and scalability of our AI-powered code review platform. You will work at the nexus of software engineering and systems operations, building foundational infrastructure and automation to support our rapidly growing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to support CodeRabbit's growing user base.
  • Own and operate critical platform services, building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Establish and maintain SLI/SLO frameworks, implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using Datadog and custom instrumentation.
  • Conduct thorough incident response, root cause analysis, and implement chaos engineering practices to proactively enhance system reliability.
  • Develop self-service platforms and tooling that empower engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot their services independently.
  • Integrate security best practices into all infrastructure and platform services, including secure network architecture, vulnerability scanning, and compliance reporting.

Skills:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
  • Proficiency in and TypeScript for building automation tools and platform services.
  • Advanced experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Comprehensive experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Load Balancing, IAM) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong Linux/Unix systems expertise, familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana), CI/CD practices, and network protocols.

Experience:

  • Required Experience: 4-6 years of experience in managing production systems at scale, preferably within high-growth technology companies.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, high-traffic web applications, disaster recovery planning, compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001), open-source contributions, cost optimization, and performance testing methodologies.
