Role Overview

As an Automation QA Engineer, you will design and implement robust automated testing frameworks and work closely with development teams to catch issues before product release, ensuring our Gen AI-driven code reviewers perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Implement and optimize automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Create comprehensive test checklists for feature validation.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test strategies, test plans, and test reports.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
  • Analyze testing results and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging testing methodologies and automation best practices.

What We Look For

Skills:

  • Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • 5-8 years of software quality assurance experience
  • Expertise in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and database testing using SQL
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and version control (e.g., Git)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Qualifications

  • Required Experience: 5-8 years in software quality assurance
  • Bonus Points: Demonstrated experience in developing automated test suites and familiarity with Agile methodologies
