Role & responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for site operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.

Logistics & Transportation

  • Plan and manage the transportation of industrial waste, recyclables, and other materials.
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to optimize routes, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Inventory & Material Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and company policies for handling industrial waste.
  • Prepare periodic SCM reports, including procurement, inventory, and logistics performance metrics.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise SCM staff and coordinate with operations, finance, and project teams.
  • Drive process improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Understanding of industrial waste handling, environmental regulations, and hazardous material management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and SCM software.
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage vendors and site teams effectively.
