Motor Design Engineer
passionate about electromagnetic design and innovation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize
    PMSM / EESM motors
    using
    Motor-CAD, Ansys Maxwell, or similar FEA tools
    .
  • Perform
    electromagnetic, thermal, and efficiency analysis
    for various topologies.
  • Support mechanical and controller teams for
    performance validation and testing
    .
  • Prepare detailed
    design documentation, CAD data, and DVP reports
    .
  • Work closely with manufacturing and prototyping teams for iterative improvements.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with
    Motor-CAD
    (mandatory).
  • Understanding of
    electromagnetic principles
    ,
    torque production
    , and
    loss modeling
    .
  • Exposure to
    Ansys Maxwell / JMAG / FEMM
    preferred.
  • Knowledge of
    PMSM / BLDC topologies
    ,
    slot-pole combinations
    ,
    magnet selection
    , and
    control basics (FOC/MTPA)
    .
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
