Job description:

- To design different types of EV motors - Traction, Synchronous reluctance, Permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motors
- To generate system requirement specifications (SRS) for new design
- To generated 3D (CREO) and 2D for the design
- To coordinate and support CAE team for simulation
- To generated control plans for motor parts for inspection and assembly
- To coordinate with purchase team for purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- To coordinate with suppliers for design feasibility, support for design understanding, and to follow-up for the part development
- To coordinate Manufacturing Engineering team for design feasibility, support for design understanding and Design for manufacturing
- To develop prototypes of the motors
- To test the motors motor for performance, endurance (on Dyno) and environmental requirements
- Do benchmarking of in field motors for understanding the design
Requirements:

- BE / ME - Mechanical, with 3-4 years of experience in motor design
- Working on CREO + AutoCAD; and Ansys (will be a + point)
- Having good understanding of GD&T for motor parts as per design requirements
- Having good understanding of manufacturing processes of motors
- Understanding of testing and simulation standards for motors
- Good in communication (written and spoken)
