Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Work cross-functionally with global product development teams to ensure tire engineering deliverables are completed on time, accuratly and per the global processes and standards.

Identify potential roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies.

Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring on-time completion.

Tire Engineering:

Serve as the technical expert for the India Tire Engineering team as they support the development of new products globally.

Provide hands-on product engineering expertise as required in Construction Engineering, Tread&Cavity, Engineering Mechanics and Performance Technology.

Translate testing feedback into actionable engineering requirements.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

7+ years engineering experience including 5+ years Product Creation Process (PCP) experience


•Experience leading cross-functional projects


•Successfully demonstrated a minimum of 2 years of technical coaching and mentorship


•Experience in two or more of the following; Product Development, Tire Engineering, Tread&Cavity, Engineering Mechanics, Performance Technology, Quality, Manufacturing, , Technology development (desired)


•Ability to manage complex technical projects with cross-functional teams.


•Working knowledge of the PCP process including Tire Engineering, T&C, EM and Performance Technology


•Ability to lead engineering teams in the execution of projects in a logical fashion using existing and new technology and standardized methods


•Ability to form strong working relationships with Goodyear associates (Global & Cross Functional) and customers
