Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Metrology Engineer with hands-on experience in CMM Bed-Type machines. The ideal candidate must be capable of performing dimensional inspection, interpreting engineering drawings, operating CMM equipment, preparing inspection reports, and ensuring precision measurements in alignment with quality standards.

Location: Electronic City, Bengaluru

Experience: up to 3 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and program CMM (Bed Type) machines for dimensional inspection.
  • Interpret technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and customer specifications.
  • Perform inspection of components, tools, molds, and assemblies.
  • Generate inspection reports and maintain documentation.
  • Troubleshoot measurement issues and ensure equipment accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Design, and Production teams regarding inspection outcomes.
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Follow safety norms and machine maintenance procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of CMM Bed-Type machine operation.
  • Experience in GD&T and understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.

Immediate joiners preferred.
