Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, bake, and decorate custom cakes, including birthday, wedding, and themed cakes
  • Prepare a wide variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts using both classic and modern techniques
  • Develop new cake flavors, designs, and seasonal menu items
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all baked goods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and baking area
  • Monitor inventory and place orders for baking ingredients and supplies
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Collaborate with the team for event and bulk orders
  • Meet production deadlines efficiently and manage multiple orders simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cake Chef, Pastry Chef, or Baker (Minimum 2-3 years preferred)
  • Expertise in baking, frosting, fondant work, and cake decorating techniques
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail and design
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Flexible to work weekends and holidays when required
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus
