Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure professional to manage, maintain, and optimize our hybrid IT environment, including on-premises and Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux and Windows systems, networking, firewall administration, and cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain
    on-premises servers
    and
    Azure cloud infrastructure
    .
  • Implement, monitor, and optimize
    hybrid cloud solutions
    to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Administer and support
    Windows Server
    and
    Linux
    environments, including patching, security updates.
  • Oversee
    network infrastructure
    , including switches, routers, VPNs, and firewalls (e.g., Sophos, Cisco, etc.).
  • Ensure
    data backup
    ,
    disaster recovery
    , and
    business continuity
    processes are in place and tested.
  • Manage
    user access
    ,
    identity management
    , and
    security policies
    across systems and networks.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using appropriate tools.
  • Enforce
    cybersecurity best practices
    and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Provide
    technical support and troubleshooting
    for infrastructure-related incidents.
  • Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • IT infrastructure management or system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Microsoft Azure
    (Entra ID-SSO, Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, Sentinel, Monitoring, Networking etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of
    Windows Server
    and
    Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
    environments.
  • Experience managing
    on-premises to cloud migration
    or
    hybrid infrastructure
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    network architecture
    ,
    firewall configuration
    ,
    VPNs
    , and
    routing/switching
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Active Directory
    ,
    DNS
    ,
    DHCP
    , and
    Group Policy management
    .
  • Proficiency in
    infrastructure monitoring tools
    and
    automation/scripting
    (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
  • Knowledge of
    backup and disaster recovery
    solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as:

o  Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect

o  Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Linux+

o  Cisco CCNA

o  Fortinet NSE or equivalent firewall certification

Experience Nuances:

o  Proven
track record in hybrid cloud migrations (on-prem to Azure)

o  Hands-on with firewalls used (Sophos, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)

o  Familiarity with DR drills and audit-readiness

o  Strong documentation and compliance orientation
