Company Description

Access Life Assistance Foundation, an Indian not-for-profit organization, provides supportive care to families seeking treatment for their child's cancer at various hospitals. Established in June 2014, the organization has grown to 11 centers across Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, Manipal, Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Madurai, with new centers opening soon in Silchar Assam & Noida. Access Life offers a loving and temporary home for children undergoing cancer treatment, along with their parents or caretakers. The foundation addresses the psychological and social impacts of cancer by providing practical support services such as nutritional support, educational resources, safe transport to hospitals, and recreational programs.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Centre Manager located in Bengaluru. The Centre Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, coordinating with hospitals, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families. Responsibilities include maintaining effective communication with families, staff, and healthcare professionals, managing budgets, organizing support services, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the center. The Centre Manager will also work to uphold the foundation's mission and values.

Qualifications

  • Management and leadership skills, including team coordination and staff management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with families, staff, and healthcare professionals
  • Administrative and organizational skills to manage daily operations and budget
  • Ability to provide emotional and practical support to families undergoing stress
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in healthcare or non-profit sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field
