This role requires extensive technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, combined with strong project management skills to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget for commercial real estate developments.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & ManagementLead MEP project teams from design development through construction completionDevelop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for MEP systemsCoordinate with architects, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless integrationManage multiple concurrent MEP projects ranging from $5M to $50M+ in valueOversee project delivery methods including design-build, design-bid-build, and integrated project deliveryTechnical ExcellenceReview and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and calculationsEnsure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations (ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, etc.)Provide technical guidance on HVAC, electrical power distribution, lighting, plumbing, and fire protection systemsConduct constructability reviews and value engineering assessmentsResolve complex technical issues and design conflicts during constructionClient & Stakeholder ManagementServe as primary MEP contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholdersLead project meetings, design reviews, and progress presentationsManage client expectations and maintain strong professional relationshipsCoordinate with building commissioning agents and regulatory authoritiesEnsure project deliverables meet client requirements and quality standardsTeam Development & MentoringSupervise and mentor junior project managers and engineering staffConduct performance evaluations and provide career development guidanceFoster collaborative team environment and knowledge sharingLead training initiatives on new technologies and industry best practicesRequired QualificationsEducation & LicensingBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredLEED AP credential preferredAdditional certifications (PMP, CEM, etc.) highly valuedExperience Requirements8-12 years of MEP project management experienceMinimum 5 years managing projects >$10M valueExtensive experience with commercial, institutional, or mixed-use developmentsProven track record of successful project delivery in fast-paced environmentsExperience with sustainable design and high-performance building systemsTechnical ExpertiseDeep knowledge of MEP systems design and construction practicesProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM coordination softwareUnderstanding of building automation systems and smart building technologiesKnowledge of energy modeling software (eQUEST, EnergyPro, etc.)Familiarity with prefabrication and modular MEP systemsCore CompetenciesExceptional project management and organizational skillsStrong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAdvanced problem-solving and critical thinking capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environmentStrong business acumen and cost management skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering or MBAExperience with healthcare, laboratory, or data center MEP systemsKnowledge of renewable energy systems and microgrid technologiesFamiliarity with construction management software (Procore, Primavera, etc.)Experience with Design-Build and Public-Private Partnership (P3) delivery methodsInternational project experienceSuccess MetricsOn-time and on-budget project deliveryClient satisfaction scores and repeat business generationTeam development and retention ratesSafety record and quality performance indicatorsRevenue growth and profit margin achievementLocation: On-site –Bengaluru, KAScheduled Weekly Hours:48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tableJLL Privacy NoticeJones Lang LaSalle (JLL), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
