Job Title: E-commerce Lead
Job Overview: We seek an experienced and results-driven E-commerce Lead to lead our online sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our online presence, drive sales growth, and improve the overall customer experience on our e-commerce platform. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on operational expertise in e-commerce.
Responsibilities:
1) E-commerce Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead in the e-commerce landscape. 2)Website Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement website updates, new features, and improvements. 3) Product Management:
- Manage the online product catalogue, including product listings, descriptions, and images.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to optimize product assortment and availability. 4) Digital Marketing:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, conversion, and customer retention.
- Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other channels to maximize online visibility. 5) Customer Experience:
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall online customer experience.
- Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. 6) Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable insights.
- Provide regular reports on e-commerce performance, sales trends, and customer behaviour. 7) Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless integration between online and offline channels.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to optimize technology and services. 8) Payment and Security:
- Ensure secure payment processing and compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and monitor fraud prevention measures. 9) Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with supply chain and fulfilment teams to optimize inventory levels and order fulfilment.
- Implement systems to track and manage inventory turnover.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, with a track record of driving online sales growth.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels and analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and innovations in e-commerce.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with popular e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
- Knowledge of web development and UX/UI best practices.
- Familiarity with international e-commerce regulations and practices.
