Role: Full-Stack freelancer

We're looking for a
hands-on full-stack intern
to help take our
Carbon Accounting SaaS
platform from a strong backend foundation to a
fully deployed, demo-ready product
with a polished UI, multi-tenancy, and AI-driven insights.

Current Setup (You'll Build on This)

  • Backend:
    FastAPI + SQLAlchemy (core models ready — Company, Emission Activity, Emission Summary)
  • AI Extraction:
    Bills (electricity, cab, hotel, fuel) with LLM fallback
  • File Upload APIs:
    Supports PDF, Excel, CSV
  • Emission Calculations:
    Scope 1/2/3 + dashboard KPIs
  • Other:
    JWT Auth, bulk import/export, OpenAPI docs, health checks, cloud-ready structure

DeliverablesBackend

  • Multi-tenancy + RBAC (Admin & Company User)
  • Finalized
    AI Recommendations API
    (concise, explainable suggestions)
  • Robust validation, error handling, structured logging
  • Security: rate-limiting, CORS, secret management
  • Polished OpenAPI docs + basic endpoint tests

Frontend

  • Modern, responsive UI (

    or
    Vue + Material/Ant Design
    )
  • Pages: Landing, Auth (Signup/Login/Reset), Dashboard, Admin
  • Dashboard: KPIs, Scope/Category/Trend charts, activity table (filter/sort/search)
  • File upload flow (bills/reports) + AI Recommendation widget
  • Export to Excel/PDF with clean, consistent UX

Deployment & Handover

  • Cloud Deployment (Frontend: Vercel/Netlify; Backend: Render/Railway or similar)
  • Live demo with sample company & real bill samples
  • Handover: Repositories, .env samples, README, user guide (with screenshots), API docs, public demo links

Acceptance Criteria (Commercial-Ready)

  • Secure JWT auth (hashed passwords, no hard-coded secrets)
  • Strict data isolation per company + role-based access
  • API-first architecture (frontend fully decoupled)
  • Reliable error handling, logging, and rate limiting
  • Mobile-responsive, accessible UI with clean code
  • Fully deployed, publicly accessible product
