Role Description

This is an internship, hybrid role, based in Bhubaneswar, with the flexibility to work remotely for some tasks. As a Sustainability & ESG Research Intern, you will support the team in conducting research on climate change initiatives, sustainability practices, and ESG frameworks. Responsibilities include analyzing data, preparing detailed reports, ensuring compliance with ESG standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to derive actionable insights. You will also assist in identifying innovative technologies and trends to enhance sustainability solutions while contributing to the growth of cutting-edge climate intelligence tools like BIGESG.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Sustainability, Climate Change, and ESG frameworks
  • Strong Research and Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data effectively
  • Proficiency in Report Writing and clear Communication skills
  • Knowledge or experience with tools related to Data Analytics and familiarity with emerging technologies like AI and IoT is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
  • Pursuing or holding a degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in contributing to impactful climate and sustainability-based projects
