About the role
As the Head — Security and Investigations (SNI) for Meesho, you'll run a pan India org focused on safeguarding Meesho people, its assets, its logistics, and supply chain network, from Security incidents, Fraud risk, Losses and Malicious activities. You will achieve this by developing a comprehensive Risk management strategy to include building and executing programs, policies, processes, dashboards, scorecards, and employing best in class Risk Mitigations framework. You'll partner with cross functional stakeholders and forge strong collaborations with the Business Operations teams, Operations partners, Law Enforcement, Legal, Nodal, and also with the Sellers, 3PL partners alike. You'll work closely with the mentioned teams in order to serve our users better. To this end, you'll also lead key Strategic initiatives, Program management, COE Investigations, and lead impactful Cross functional projects.
Your guiding question in this role will be "How can we build a secure, fraud-free, high on ownership & integrity supply chain, while keeping the sellers and customer experience at max". You'll answer this question every day through owning the Security & Investigations (SNI) Charter for Fulfillment and Experience, Valmo, and Meesho at large. What you will do
  • Strategise, Develop, Lead, and Scale the Security & Investigations (SNI) charter at Meesho.
  • Partner closely with the Business and XFN partners - Operations, Central Control tower, Legal, Trust & Safety, 3PL, Supplier & Customer experience, Nodal, HR/ER, as a strategic business enabler.
  • Build and scale Security Risk programs to ensure the complete SCM ecosystem remains secure, safe, fraud & incident free.
  • Regularly conduct Risk assessments, Vulnerability analysis, and ensure that the intervention measures are implemented Pan India, with a clear focus on impact.
  • Conduct regular security intervention and audits on the ground, based on central data inputs.
  • Partner closely with Legal and Nodal teams in ensuring appropriate legal and penal action is taken on fraudulent stakeholders - employees, delivery boys, sellers, logistics vendors etc.
  • Create Org muscle and Liaisoning with the internal stakeholders and external authorities like Law enforcement, police, and partner in incident and crisis management response.
  • Lead the Investigations charter, oversee the Central Investigations to include - Code of conduct violations, Conflict of Interest, Anti Bribery & Corruption, and Brand protection.
  • In the long run, design and deliver a SOC (Security operations centre) to monitor incidents, provide quick response to incidents, and ensure BCP in the network.
What you will need
  • 10 years of security leadership experience with substantial experience in managing a geographically dispersed security, investigations and loss prevention teams, with KRs around Program management, investigations, fraud prevention and driving measurable impact.
  • Program management experience with strong understanding of business processes/ operations.
  • Experience in Fulfillment, 3PL, SCM, or experience in a similar high growth tech environment.
  • Experience in Ecommerce, Retail, Supply chain operations is preferred.
  • Outstanding leadership, people management, and organizational skills.
  • Superior problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Experience in team building, managing, and coaching will be a plus.CPP, CFE, TAPA would be a plus.
