As we expand, we're looking for a Business Development Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a knack for cold calling and lead generation.Objective of the RoleTo drive new business through proactive outreach, identify qualified sales opportunities via cold calling, and contribute to the company's revenue and client acquisition goals.Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume cold calls daily to prospects from targeted lists to introduce our products/services.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments or demos for senior sales representatives.
- Understand customer needs and offer solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Maintain an organized database of leads, activities, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
- Research and identify potential markets and clients using LinkedIn, databases, and other platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
- Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly targets for calls, leads generated, and deals progressed.
- Prepare basic sales reports on outreach activity, conversion metrics, and learnings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in business development, cold calling, inside sales, or telemarketing.
- Excellent communication skills—confident, clear, and persuasive.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections.
- Basic understanding of CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-driven and proactive with a growth mindset.
- Comfortable working in a target-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in EdTech, SaaS, IT services, or consulting sectors.
- Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or lead gen platforms.
- Exposure to B2B or B2C sales models.(B2B preffered)
- Ability to understand and explain technical products/services in simple terms.
