MANAGER – FINANCE & ACCOUNTS

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Finance & Accounts Manager to lead our accounting team and oversee the financial health of the organization. The role requires hands-on experience with filing GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9, and GSTR 9C, along with strong proficiency in Tally and Zoho Books. The candidate should be capable of preparing financial projections, finalizing books of accounts, and ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2013.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

● Lead the accounting team in finalizing books of accounts and preparing financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements as per the Companies Act 2013.

● Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in Tally and Zoho Books.

● Monitor and maintain the integrity of financial data and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. GST Compliance:

● Supervise the preparation and filing of GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9, and GSTR 9C with full compliance to GST laws.

● Oversee reconciliation of GST returns with books of accounts and resolve discrepancies. ● Stay updated with changes in GST laws and implement necessary changes in the compliance process. Tax & Regulatory Compliance:

● Manage TDS calculations, deductions, deposits, and filing of returns.

● Oversee the organization's income tax compliance, including timely filing of returns and audits.

● Liaise with auditors and tax authorities as needed during assessments and audits. Financial Analysis & Reporting:

● Conduct financial ratio analysis and provide insights on the financial performance of the company.

● Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with actionable insights for senior leadership.

● Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives.

Team Management:

● Manage and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals.

● Allocate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and provide training and support for skill enhancement.

● Ensure team adherence to processes, deadlines, and quality standards. System & Process Improvements:

● Leverage Tally and Zoho Books for efficient financial operations.

● Drive automation and improvements in accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Other Duties:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives with accurate financial inputs.

● Manage day-to-day operations including fund management, bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and receivables monitoring.

● Assist in internal and external audits and support statutory reporting requirements.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance (M.Com) or a related field; CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.

● 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 1-2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

● Strong knowledge of GST compliance, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.

● Proven experience in finalizing accounts, financial planning, and financial analysis.

● High proficiency in Tally and Zoho Books.

● Excellent team leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

● Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills:

● Experience in handling tax audits and liaising with regulatory authorities.

● Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, MIS reporting, and financial modeling.

● Knowledge of audit standards and best practices.

● Exposure to ERP implementation and system upgrades (added advantage).
