The Maintenance Executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role ensures that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner to minimize downtime and enhance operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule routine preventive maintenance of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff or external contractors.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to ensure quick resolution.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service reports.
  • Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts; ensure timely replenishment.
  • Ensure all maintenance operations comply with health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Support energy-saving and sustainability initiatives by optimizing equipment use.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance activities.
  • Recommend improvements for maintenance processes, systems, or equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Facilities Engineering (or related field).
  • 2–5 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in manufacturing, hospitality, or facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electricaland plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills.
