JD Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior QA Tester with a primary focus on Mobile Application Testing. The ideal candidate should have some hands-on experience or strong interest in manual testing, along with exposure to automation testing. Experience in web and API testing is a plus. Youll be part of a collaborative QA team working closely with developers, product managers, and senior testers to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test documentation.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs in tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, and usability testing.
  • Execute basic API tests using tools like Postman or Swagger (if applicable).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of QA experience, ideally including mobile app testing.
  • Basic understanding of web and API testing concepts.
  • Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG).
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to improve testing coverage.
  • Assist in writing or maintaining automation scripts under guidance (using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Automation is good to have.
