Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using Laravel (PHP ).
  • Design and manage RESTful APIs for integration with external systems such as payment gateways, credit bureaus, and partner platforms.
  • Work closely with product, business, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions for loan origination, disbursement, and repayment modules.
  • Maintain and optimize existing codebase for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Implement and manage role-based access, authentication, and authorization.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with UI components.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and data protection norms.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
  • Proven experience in Fintech, NBFC, or digital lending projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, Eloquent ORM, and database design.
  • Experience in RESTful API development and third-party API integration .
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, queue management (Redis), and caching.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
