Academic Program Manager : Robotics & AI

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to manage the development of our Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) course and lab ecosystem. This role involves designing a comprehensive curriculum, setting up a state-of-the-art robotics and AI laboratory, procuring necessary hardware/software tools, and integrating industry best practices into academic learning. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of Robotics, AI, and Industrial Automation, combined with hands-on exposure to the current trends in the robotics and AI field.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design and develop a structured Robotics & AI curriculum that blends theory with practical, hands-on learning.

 Establish and set up a Robotics & AI lab, including hardware, software, tools, and infrastructure.

 Identify and procure equipment, sensors, controllers, robots, and AI development platforms required for course delivery.

 Collaborate with faculty, industry experts, and technical teams to align the course with cutting-edge research and industry needs.

 Develop training material, lab manuals, and evaluation systems for students.

 Provide guidance and mentorship to students, interns, and faculty members on robotics and AI projects.

 Stay updated with emerging technologies in robotics, AI, and automation to continuously improve the course and lab.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, AI, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields.

 Experience with electronics, circuit design, 3D printing, and prototyping

 Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial sensors, and automation protocols.

 Minimum exposure to robotics platforms, AI frameworks, industrial automation systems, and control systems.

 Experience with robotics hardware, simulation tools, and AI/ML frameworks (ROS, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) preferred. And strong skills in Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar languages

 Strong understanding of current and emerging robotics and AI trends in both academic and industry.

 Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

 Passion for teaching, training, and knowledge transfer.

Preferred Experience:

 Previous involvement in designing courses, labs, or training modules in robotics or AI.

 Hands-on work with robot arms, mobile robots, AI-based applications, and automation systems.

 Exposure to academic-industry collaboration projects.
