Position Overview  



We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and support of Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The consultant will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain stakeholders to optimize processes, drive system enhancements, and ensure seamless integration within the SAP landscape.



Required Skill & Qualification 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in SAP PP/QM with at least 1–2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Production Planning: MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution.
  • Quality Management: Inspection Lots, Control Plans, Notifications, Quality Certificates, Audit Management.
  • Integration with MM, SD, WM/EWM, and FI/CO.
  • Solid understanding of S/4HANA simplifications, Fiori apps, and digital manufacturing solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skill

  • SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Certification.
  • Experience in SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME/MII) or Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC).
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba Quality Collaboration or supplier quality management tools.
  • Exposure to Life Sciences, Automotive, or FMCG industries with complex quality needs


Key Responsibilities  



  Solution Design & Implementation

  • Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA PP and QM modules to support production planning, shop floor execution, and quality processes.
  • Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and develop detailed functional specifications.
  • Manage end-to-end project activities including blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live support.

  Production Planning (PP) Responsibilities

  • Set up and optimize Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centres, Production Versions).
  • Configure MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, and Production Orders.
  • Support Discrete, Process, and Repetitive Manufacturing scenarios.
  • Integrate PP with MM, SD, FI/CO, and WM/EWM modules.

  Quality Management (QM) Responsibilities

  • Configure Inspection Planning, Lot Processing, Quality Certificates, and Notifications.
  • Implement In-Process Inspection, Goods Receipt Inspection, and Customer/Supplier Quality processes.
  • Define Quality Control Plans and support integration with PP, MM, and PM.
  • Streamline audit, compliance, and reporting requirements in SAP.

  Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide L3-level support for PP/QM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing and quality operations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for business users.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders in manufacturing and quality domains.
  • Mentor junior consultants and lead small project teams where required.
