Sales Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth across three critical segments: weddings, corporate sales, and travel agent partnerships. The role requires proactive business development, relationship management, and execution of tailored sales strategies to maximize occupancy, banquet sales, and overall revenue.
Weddings & Social Events
Develop and manage relationships with wedding planners, event organizers, and bridal clients.
- Promote hotel venues, banquets, F&B packages, and wedding services to prospective clients.
- Conduct site inspections, property tours, and presentations to wedding parties and families.
- Negotiate wedding packages and customized event solutions in line with client requirements and hotel profitability.
- Work with operations and banquet teams to ensure smooth execution of wedding events.
Monitor competitor offerings and trends in the wedding/events market to maintain competitive positioning.
Corporate Sales
Develop and grow relationships with corporate clients for room bookings, conferences, meetings, and events.
- Generate leads and convert them into confirmed business through proactive networking, cold calling, and client visits.
- Negotiate corporate rates, group bookings, and MICE packages (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions).
- Maintain an updated database of corporate accounts, track performance, and ensure account retention.
Collaborate with revenue and reservations teams to maximize occupancy and yield.
Travel Agent & Tour Operator Sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with local, domestic, and international travel agents.
- Promote hotel offerings in line with travel agent and tour operator requirements.
- Organize familiarization (FAM) trips and hotel presentations for travel partners.
- Negotiate competitive commission structures and package deals to drive room night production.
General Sales & Administrative Duties
- Prepare monthly sales reports and performance analysis for management review.
- Maintain a CRM database with updated client information and sales activity logs.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets across all assigned segments.
- Represent the hotel in networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Work closely with marketing team for promotions, campaigns, and collateral development.
- Ensure all contracts, proposals, and agreements are aligned with hotel policies and profitability.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, event planning, and MICE segments.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry (preferably in weddings, corporate sales, or travel trade).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a hotel or event sales role.
- Familiarity with hotel sales systems, CRM tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend events as required.
