About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Senior Business Development Executive to drive the sales of our B2B Procurement SaaS platform in the Maharashtra region. This individual will focus on enterprise clients in the manufacturing industry, targeting companies with a turnover between ₹200 crore to ₹3,000 crore. As the face of our company in this key region, you will play a pivotal role in creating leads, nurturing relationships, successfully closing sales, and managing client accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
This is a work-from-home role, requiring a high degree of self-discipline, integrity, and accountability. We are committed to supporting your career growth, providing opportunities to take on a larger role in the future by managing a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
:
- Identify and create a pipeline of enterprise clients in the manufacturing industry within Maharashtra/ Delhi NCR.
- Leverage personal networks and industry connections to generate high-quality leads.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
Sales Strategy & Execution
:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to meet regional goals.
- Conduct effective presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of the platform.
- Engage with key decision-makers (CXOs, Procurement Heads) to understand their pain points and present tailored solutions.
- Lead and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
Client Account Management
:
- Take ownership of client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, addressing any issues and ensuring smooth onboarding and product adoption.
- Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Work closely with the support team to resolve client concerns promptly and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Relationship Building
:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing enterprise clients to ensure trust and credibility.
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understanding their procurement challenges and proposing solutions effectively.
Collaboration & Reporting
:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product and support, to ensure client success.
- Provide regular updates and sales reports to the COO, ensuring transparency and alignment with company objectives.
Market Insights
:
- Gather feedback from clients and prospects to relay valuable insights for product improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in procurement.
Key Requirements
Experience
:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS or technology domain.
- Proven track record of successfully selling to enterprise clients in the manufacturing industry.
- Well-networked within manufacturing companies with turnovers between ₹200 crore and ₹3,000 crore in Maharashtra/ Delhi NCR.
- Experience in client account management, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Skills
:
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise sales cycles and consultative selling approaches.
- Strong account management skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating high levels of self-discipline and integrity.
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Familiarity with procurement processes and technology platforms will be an advantage.
