Position Overview:

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our experienced team of business analysts and data scientists to extract, analyze, and interpret data that will drive business improvements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and requirements.
  • Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and data warehouses.
  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and reports to support ongoing business operations and decision-making.
  • Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify insights and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in creating and presenting data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience in querying and analyzing relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
