Job Overview:

We are seeking a
QA Engineer with over 2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing

to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our applications through detailed test planning, execution, and defect tracking. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that products meet high standards of quality before release.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze product requirements and convert them into detailed, structured
    test cases

and
test scenarios

.
- Perform
end-to-end manual testing

of web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
- Execute test cases and document test results accurately.
- Identify, log, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Perform various types of testing such as
functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing

.
- Participate in
Agile/Scrum ceremonies

, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce issues and ensure resolution.
- Conduct
UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

and support release cycles.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, results, and quality metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    2 years of experience

in
manual testing

.
- Solid understanding of
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

and
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Experience with
bug tracking and test management tools

(e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Good knowledge of different testing methodologies and types.
- Basic knowledge of
SQL

for data validation is a plus.
- Should have good knowledge of API testing using postman (Mandatory)
- Strong
analytical and troubleshooting skills

.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Exposure to
    basic automation testing concepts or tools

(e.g., Selenium, Postman for API testing).
- Experience testing
APIs, databases

backend systems

- Familiarity with
CI/CD tools

(e.g., Jenkins) and
version control systems
