Job Description

Position: Quality Control (QC) Engineer

Location: Bhatpore, Surat.

Overview:

The QC Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of solar products, materials, and installations by conducting inspections, implementing quality processes, and addressing non-conformance issues. This role is vital for maintaining industry standards and optimizing performance in solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement QC procedures for solar modules, inverters, and structures.
  • Testing and Inspections: Conduct electrical, mechanical, and visual tests using tools like IV curve tracers and EL testers.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to international standards (e.g., IEC, UL) and local regulations.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify root causes of defects, implement corrective actions, and optimize processes.
  • Vendor Audits: Evaluate supplier quality and work with vendors to resolve material-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain inspection records and generate quality reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • 1 years of experience in quality control, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
  • Proficiency in QC tools, standards, and methodologies (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with solar technologies and systems.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Timing: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
