About the Role

As Project Head – Civil, you will lead the overall strategy, planning, and execution of Vetic's Clinic and Hospital infrastructure projects across India. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety standards, and design excellence. This role demands both a strategic mindset and hands-on project leadership to deliver scalable, sustainable, and innovative healthcare infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the long-term construction and infrastructure roadmap for Vetic clinics/hospitals across India.
  • Multi-Project Oversight: Lead and monitor multiple construction projects across geographies, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Build and manage strong relationships with architects, contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Design & Innovation: Collaborate with designers and technical experts to implement modern, efficient, and innovative solutions in clinic design and infrastructure.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Oversee project estimates, budgeting, and expenditure control at an organizational level; implement strategies for cost optimization.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to legal, statutory, and environmental regulations; proactively manage risks, disputes, and claims.
  • Health, Safety & Quality: Champion safety protocols, sustainability practices, and quality benchmarks across all projects.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing project management team; ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Provide timely updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and key decisions; align all stakeholders on delivery milestones.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in leading end-to-end project delivery of commercial or healthcare infrastructure projects in India.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-location, medium-to-large scale projects with full ownership of cost, timelines, and quality.

  • Strong expertise in:

  • Budget management & cost optimization

  • Project and construction management
  • Business risk management
  • Timeline planning & execution

  • Construction contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution

  • Deep knowledge of local construction regulations, contracts, and industry practices.

  • Experience in building scalable project delivery processes across multiple cities.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Master's degree (Construction/Project Management) preferred.
