The Akaai Project is growing, and we're looking for someone to grow it with us.

This is a senior role, not just to run marketing or bring in new business, but to help shape what this agency becomes. You'll be working directly with the founder to build strategies, bring in exciting clients, set up strong internal systems, and grow a solid team from the ground up.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading new business development; from identifying opportunities to pitching and closing.
  • Building and executing marketing and brand strategies that move the needle.
  • Setting up systems, processes, and teams that support scale.
  • Shaping The Akaai Project's positioning and presence in the industry.
  • Working closely with the founder and core team to drive long-term growth.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy or business development
  • Someone who's led teams, built structure, and knows how to scale
  • A mix of creative instinct + business acumen
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, but knows how to create clarity
  • Previous agency/startup experience is a big plus
