Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing revenue recognition, accounts receivable processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the revenue recognition process to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements related to revenue and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve billing and collection issues.
  • Conduct regular audits of revenue and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition and accounts receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
