Qualifications and Skills

  • MBBS degree from a recognized university with valid registration (Mandatory skill), ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Minimum of 7 years and maximum of 10 years of experience as a Medical Officer, RMO, or similar senior role in healthcare institutions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in emergency departments, responding with precision and calm under high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in handling patients in the ICU and implementing critical care protocols to support complex medical cases.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication in urgent clinical environments.
  • Strong analytical skills for quick diagnosis and patient assessment, critical for senior-level independent medical decision-making.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities to maintain accurate patient medical histories and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring junior staff and supporting ongoing clinical education within the healthcare setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and administer comprehensive patient care in emergency, ICU, and critical care units, prioritizing rapid and accurate responses.
  • Conduct immediate assessments, provide necessary acute interventions, and ensure timely escalation to specialized units as required.
  • Monitor and review patient progress, interpreting diagnostic reports and modifying treatment plans when clinically indicated.
  • Collaborate with consultants, specialists, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with organizational and statutory requirements.
  • Participate actively in hospital rounds, case discussions, and clinical audits to enhance quality of care and patient safety.
  • Supervise and provide clinical support to resident doctors, interns, and nursing staff on clinical protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain readiness for medical emergencies, staying updated on the latest clinical guidelines to uphold best practices in acute care.
