**Reports to**: CEO

**Job Summary**:
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care and supervision to patients admitted in the hospital. The RMO ensures timely diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients, coordinates with other healthcare professionals, and maintains high standards of medical practice within the hospital.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide immediate medical attention and treatment to admitted patients.
- Monitor patient conditions regularly and update medical records accurately.
- Perform initial assessments and investigations for emergency cases.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Coordinate with consultants, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare staff for patient care.
- Supervise junior doctors, interns, and medical trainees.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and medical protocols.
- Assist in medical audits, quality improvement programs, and clinical governance activities.
- Participate in emergency medical response teams and on-call duties.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient history, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and progress notes.
- Educate patients and their families about the illness, treatment plans, and preventive care.

**Qualifications**:

- MBBS/BAMS/BHMS Degree from a recognized university.
- Registered with the relevant Medical Council.
- Valid license to practice medicine.
