• Demonstrate knowledge in resuscitation and stabilization processes for varied medical emergencies.
• Should have excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills to manage high-pressure scenarios calmly.
• Required skills include MEM, FEM, MRCEM, MD, and DNB, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge in emergency medical disciplines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Must have robust communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Emergency and Emergency Medicine skills are mandatory to perform the demanding duties of this role effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide direct and immediate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions or injuries.
• Assess patient needs efficiently to offer appropriate emergency treatment and stabilize patients for further care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and treatment continuity.
• Perform necessary medical procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and ultrasound-guided resuscitations.
• Maintain accurate and concise patient documentation to ensure seamless transition of care.
• Participate in regular training and educational sessions to stay updated with the latest in emergency medicine practices.
• Maintain compliance with medical protocols and standards in the emergency department.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance emergency department operation and patient outcomes.
