Location - Manchar, Pune

1. Job Purpose

This position would be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics

operations such as stores, transportation and supply chain processes maintaining the

appropriate cost and time lines.

2. Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

  • Responsible for driving long term Transportation strategy strategy
  • Responsible for evaluating Transportation requirements vehicle type andService provider
  • Responsible for identification & evaluation of vendors for transportation services
  • To identify & evaluate transportation suiting Parag's requirements
  • Optimize total transportation cost by optimizing vehicle type, utilization, clubbed load
  • to drive transportation improvement initiatives across the country
  • Training calendar for transport vendor on processes
  • Ensure that all Transporter follow safety & Govt. norms
  • Responsible for measuring Transporter performances (Score cards) & design development programs
  • Benchmarking with Industry
  • Implement technology driven projects in Transportation
  • Explore automation of processes in transportation.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly (Spend for WH/Transportation) Target Achievement (%): Budgeted vs Actual & % to Sales
  • Value addition / New initiatives: Yearly RFQ for Primary logistics & MoM data tracker
  • last Month /Quarter/Year Performance (%): Same day, Next day order processing with dispatches & Delivery TAT
  • Process Efficiency (%): Warehouse optimization/route optimization/Route day adherence/Vehicle Utilization/WH Utilization.
  • Cost Reduction (%): Cost saving projects and ideas
  • On-Time Delivery Rate: Relocation/cold room installation/upgrading infrastructure
