They seek experienced Head Development – Logistics Commercial Property to play a pivotal role in aligning strategic vision with tangible project outcomes. Reporting to the national leadership team, this senior position will provide end‑to‑end ownership of the development pipeline from site acquisition to delivery enhancing operational efficiency, sustainability performance and stakeholder value. This role offers high exposure across public, private and institutional partner ecosystems, with significant opportunities for career progression within a high-velocity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Controls

  • Lead master planning, feasibility reviews, budget forecasting and tender management
  • Implement robust project controls and cost‑reporting systems for transparency
  • Oversee construction and development through to completion

Strategy Execution & Growth

  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable development plans and business cases
  • Identify growth levers and efficiency improvements for sustainable scale‑up
  • Guide site acquisitions and redevelopment initiatives

Team & Resource Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team including national and state‑level development managers
  • Allocate resources and consultants to meet project demands
  • Drive capability building and performance through coaching and development

Commercial & Stakeholder Management

  • Guide tender processes and maintain budget/revenue control for the development portfolio
  • Cultivate relationships with government bodies, industry groups, tenants and capital partners
  • Guide negotiations and approvals for planning, rezoning and infrastructure delivery

Compliance, Risk & Sustainability

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, safety, security and risk frameworks
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies across all projects
  • Integrate sustainability principles into project planning and operations
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in development and capital project leadership, ideally within real estate, industrial infrastructure or logistics
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale development programmes and multi-discipline teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, budgeting and cost control for complex projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including with government, donors, investors and commercial tenants
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian planning, zoning, environmental and construction regulations
  • Experience overseeing compliance, risk, safety and sustainability frameworks in project environments
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills, with experience coaching mid to senior managers
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. PMP, RICS, LEED AP) or equivalent certifications highly regarded
  • Fluent English; proficiency in regional languages (e.g. Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu) advantageous
