Job Title: Leasing & Property Executive

Department: Business Development / Real Estate / Admin

Reporting to: Leasing Manager / Head of Real Estate / Operations Manager

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Job Summary:

The Leasing & Property Executive is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing leasing opportunities for commercial properties. This role involves handling lease agreements, coordinating with landlords and legal teams, managing lease renewals, and ensuring proper documentation and property compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leasing Activities

  • Identify and evaluate commercial properties for leasing (e.g., showrooms, offices, retail spaces).
  • Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements with landlords and property agents.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential leasing opportunities aligned with business expansion goals.

2. Documentation & Legal Coordination

  • Prepare and review lease agreements in coordination with the legal team.
  • Ensure timely execution, renewal, or termination of lease contracts.
  • Maintain proper records of lease documents and related property agreements.

3. Property Management Support

  • Coordinate with landlords and vendors to address property-related maintenance and compliance issues.
  • Monitor property conditions and report any concerns or risks.
  • Ensure properties meet local regulatory and safety standards.

4. Lease Renewals & Rent Management

  • Track lease expiry dates and initiate timely renewal negotiations.
  • Maintain a lease tracker with rent escalation clauses, due dates, and deposit schedules.
  • Coordinate with finance for timely rent payments, deposits, and expense reconciliation.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams (design, project, legal, finance) for property planning and execution.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords, brokers, and property developers.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of lease laws and property contracts
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple leasing projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Office, lease trackers, and property databases
  • Real estate or leasing software knowledge (preferred)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in commercial leasing or property management
  • Experience in real estate, retail, interior design, or facility management industries is a plus
  • Familiarity with local property laws and leasing norms
