Job Description:
This role involves architecting and developing cutting-edge sensing solutions for consumer products such as mobile phones, wearables, drones, and more. You'll be responsible for creating innovative systems that integrate hardware and software, leading projects from concept to mass production, and inspiring a team of passionate technologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design and Development:
- Define concepts and architect hardware-software-integrated solutions for MEMS-based sensing applications.
- Algorithm Development:
- Focus on signal processing, machine learning, algorithm design, and statistical methods to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Coding, Documentation, Unit Testing
- Technical Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of skilled engineers, ensuring excellence in development processes. - Technical direction
- Systematic technical decision-making
- Architecture, design approaches I
- Customer communication - technical expertise, subject expert
- Breakdown of customer requirements to technical requirements in task, user story level
- First point of contact to the PO regarding technical topics
- Innovation :
- Research and develop
innovative solutions
tailored to real-world challenges in consumer products such as wearables, mobile phones, drones, laptop and IoT devices etc. - Collaboration:
- Work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless and effective solutions.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Strong in
signal processing and algorithm development. - Proficient in
statistical signal processing concepts
, including estimators, probabilities, and statistical models. - Proficiency in
estimation filters
, such as Kalman filters and adaptive filters, for system state estimation and noise reduction. - Extensive experience in
optimizing and implementing algorithms
for real-time processing on resource-constrained microcontrollers. - Advanced
mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving - Experience in
data analysis
and
data visualization
, creating insights from large and complex sensor datasets. - Solid programming expertise in
MATLAB
,
Embedded C
, and
Python
. - Knowledge of filter design and implementation or related algorithm development is a strong plus.
Leadership and Organization:
- Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing technical teams in an Agile working environment.
- Effective communication skills to bridge gaps across teams and disciplines.
Preferred Experience:
- MEMS & Applications:
Familiarity with MEMS sensors and applications, such as accelerometer, magnetometer , gyroscope, or MOX gas sensors . - Machine Learning:
Hands-on experience and intermediate to expert-level proficiency in ML, deep learning algorithms, and sensor applications. - Proficient in implementing
fixed-point arithmetic
for efficient computation on embedded platforms.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields such as Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunication.
Experience:
- 8+ years of industry experience
in related fields.
