About Mistral:

Mistral offers RF design services for aerospace and defense applications. Our engineering team adopts a highly-disciplined development approach starting with a comprehensive requirement document followed by a feasibility study to reduce identified risks. This leads to circuit design, simulation, modeling, and prototyping. A comprehensive test plan for RF design is developed and used to ensure that the resulting design meets the requirement specification.

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:


• Design and implement advanced radar signal processing algorithms including:

  • Pulse compression for range resolution enhancement
  • Clutter filtering in Moving Target Indication (MTI)
  • Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR) detectors
  • FFT-based range and Doppler estimation
  • Micro-Doppler analysis for target classification


• Develop and optimize beamforming techniques for phased-array and MIMO

radar systems


• Implement Kalman filtering for multi-target tracking and state estimation


• Support MIMO radar processing for high-resolution imaging and parameter

estimation


• Work on signal simulation, system modeling, and hardware-in-the-loop testing


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and

software engineers.

Required Skills:


• Strong background in radar signal processing and statistical estimation


• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ for algorithm prototyping and

development


• Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) concepts and tools


• Familiarity with simulation environments and radar datasets


• Understanding of radar hardware and system-level constraints is a plus

Educational Qualification:

E&C BE/ B.Tech or ME & M.Tech
