Role & responsibilities

  • Analyze customer RFQs to determine technical and commercial requirements and establish timelines for bid preparation and submission

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility and provide recommendations for bid/no-bid decisions

  • Assist in ROM estimation by leveraging historical data and working closely with the estimation team

  • Fixture & other support item list preparation

  • Gather accurate data and cost parameters by liaising with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure competitive

  • Develop cohesive proposals that include technical content, pricing breakdowns, and commercial terms

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in bid submissions

  • Serve as the single point of contact for bid management, overseeing the process from RFQ receipt to final submission and

  • Identify and address qualification gaps, risks, and mitigation strategies within proposal content

Competencies

  • Must have experience in sheet metal
  • Familiarity with ROM estimation and costing technique
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering principles, aircraft specifications, and drawings
  • Proficiency in MS Office and bidding/proposal management tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines under pressure and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions with the ability to assess risks and opportunities
