We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: GST Compliance & Filing: Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) in compliance with statutory deadlines. Handling GST reconciliation and addressing issues with input tax credit (ITC). Coordinating with clients to resolve GST-related queries and maintain accurate records. TDS Compliance: Ensure timely deduction and deposition of TDS as per Income Tax Act. Preparation of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and reconciling TDS liabilities. Provide advice to clients on TDS provisions, exemptions, and deadlines. Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with Indian GAAP/IFRS. Handle internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and liaising with auditors. Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and compliance with statutory regulations. Accounting & Bookkeeping: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts. Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. Taxation: Assist clients in tax planning, compliance, and filing for Income Tax, GST, and other applicable taxes. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and advise clients accordingly. Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and ensure client satisfaction by providing timely and professional services. Build strong relationships with clients and help them optimize their financial and tax strategies. Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing training and guidance. Review and approve the work of junior staff members to ensure accuracy and compliance. Skills and Qualifications: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, taxation (GST & TDS), and audit, preferably with a CA firm or in a similar industry. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.). Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Audit procedures. Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.) and ERP systems. Key Competencies: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
